Show
March 28th, 2008I will have a show up, probably early summer, in San Francisco. More details to come…I met with the director of the space, today, and she is quite excited about the material…but she also has to vet with the board and various others. I have not done a real show in quite some time (I did a small group show about 18 months ago. I sold one piece, and then the center director left, and took the proceeds. It took another six months to collect the small proceeds, by which time it was more about the principal than the $$).
I will post some of the likely material soon. In the meantime, enjoy Raelyn Mouse. Even though you can’t see her face. I will post more of her too (one of the most fun, and interesting models I’ve worked with in some time).

Your eyes
March 27th, 2008I just had an eye exam after…so long that my doctor had archived my file. I’m a photographer. You are looking at my photos. Take care of your eyes. Please.

Ataraxia, covered with coffee grounds.
Polaroid stopped making film about the same time I stopped shooting film. I used polaroid as a proofing film, but then I discovered polapan instant slide film. I bought a stash of it at a studio’s garage sale (I think the photographer died) and am still hoarding the last few rolls. It gives unpredictable (and therefore sometimes interesting) results. This is Ariel.

She is a Butoh dancer…perhaps I will upload some of her in Butoh mode. Amazing.
I wish I could still get Polapan.
My most recent shoot
March 23rd, 2008The original model flaked, but my fabulous MUA lined up another model, and Sandy did the hair. So we have Monic in hair bondage here. This one will probably not be the one that makes to my

There is lots of chatter on model mayhem about flaky models (and flaky photogs), but I have not had many…but then 2 in two weeks, with creative and weird excuses. I’ve decided that for the worst of them (same day cancels, outright lies), I will do my best to be sure that you will not work in this town again.
New
March 22nd, 2008I’m going to make this short, since I just have this up and running.
This is Rodrigo, part of a 2 person dance company. I am privileged to work with amazingly talented dancers. I do a pretty damn good job capturing them, too.
